Livingston, Montana

"Long ago, the magic of Mission Ranch wove us into the tapestry of its soul, and our lives have been richly blessed by it. We would share that blessing with you."

Livingston on the ‘best town’ list

Livingston, Montana has been added as a ‘best town”!

If you’ve ever been to our little town of beauty this would come as no surprise.  With all the museums, art gallaries, excellent restaurants, fishing, rafting and boating, sight seeing, hiking, scenic drives and unique shopping experiences  in our area, even the locals find plenty to see and do!

Outdoor Life Magazine named Livingston, Montana as a “Best Town for Sportsmen” in the June/July 2009 issue.  Livingston was named 38th out of 200  U.S. cities. Evaluation and ranking was based on reserach and data important to hunters and anglers.

This newest honor comes only months after a survey conducted by Gallup Polls reported that people who live in the West are happier and healthier.

Montana ranked 12th out of 50 states in the ‘well-being’ index, 3rd ouf of 50 states in the ‘ healthy behavior’ index, 20th in the ’physical health’ index and 5th in the ‘emotional health’ index.  Check out the ‘work quality’ index –  5th out of 50 states!

Of course, we don’t take the credit.  We are blessed to live in these surroundings.  So we thank God for His creation then we sit back, relax and shake our heads in knowing wonder.  A little piece of paradise……
